Tonzu - Organic Tempeh (Original)
Tempeh is a high protein gluten free product that can be included in many dishes. Marinate and bake it, for use in sandwiches, stir fries, or just dipping in tasty sauces. Throw the cubes in a food processor and pulse until you have a chunky texture, then sauté the tempeh for chilli, spaghetti sauce, or any substitute for a 'mince' dish.
Tonzu applied traditional Japanese methods when they naturally ferment their tempeh which is made from activated whole soybeans. Their certified organic tempeh is proudly made in NZ, using only two natural ingredients.
